Long time, no speak.

Wow. It has really been a LONG time since I wrote and a LOT has happened. Alan and I broke up on Oct 24, 2008 around 11:30 (it was after a Friday night football game, so it was late when we talked.) He really sounded sincere when he said he wanted us to "still be friends" and I bought it. However, the next day, he had a new girlfriend (although I didn't find out until Wednesday when I asked if he was going to youth and the text i got back was not Alan.) and he spent the entire day with her then sat next to me during church without even telling me about it. So when I finally got the entire truth (Thanksgiving Day) I was FURIOUS.
Now we hardly see each other because he spends so much of his time with her that he rarely goes to church. I'm not saying she's a bad influence or anything, she seems to be really good for him, I'm just not used to not seeing him at youth. I respect their relationship, but I really don't care to hang around them too much, makes my heartache since after almost 3 years of dating off and on, he just returns me like an old book to my solitude just to pick up a new one with a prettier cover.
Now, I'm over him and trying to move on with my life and find a new guy. Since we broke up, I've spent a lot of time with Taylor and Morgan and have joined the praise band Corban and will soon join the choir. The singing has helped me a lot to move on, it has filled that hole that Alan never could.
I've also made some new best friends, Kristen and Jason. Jason is my cousin on my granma's side, although distantly. He's a junior and was in my physics class, he always sat at the lab table beside my desk and we would always end up laughing during the middle of class over some crazy little thing. I had a terrible "crush" on him for a few weeks, and now I realize that it was just because he was so amazing to be around, I just wanted to spend more time with him. Anytime I thought about kissing him, I always felt embarassed because that's when I would always remember that he is my cousin... eww.
Kristen's pretty cool too. She's in band, plays trombone (baritone for marching band). She's in jazz band too so we see each other a good bit. She's really sweet and somewhat like me, just a little more bubbly and not so competitive. She's a freshman and I'm really going to miss her after this year. Although Robin will probably be my closest friend ever, Kristen just has a knack for understanding me better than anyone else I know.
So, that's all the social changes in my life. I'll post later with all the traumatic events that have taken place and tell you about the my schedule for the rest of the year.
