Life has been getting better and better lately. Grant makes me laugh and we get along so well -- i can definitely see a future with him -- we've gotten closer lately and i feel like i can depend on him for anything. We're both going to UNCC next year and that is a definite perk. I'm looking forward to seeing him in engineering classes and hanging out with him.
Today, I went to his house and we played guitar hero. Normalcy... no pressure like with Alan. It makes it easier to get along with him and we can take it slowly and not rush into anything too soon. We talk so much -- though rarely on the phone -- and we can talk about nearly anything. We have very similar interests in almost every category. He's a boy scout and rather athletic but also plays video games late into the night and appears to be pretty good on a computer. He values academics way more than Alan and is pretty high in the class rank. He even regrets quitting band, something that I admire about him, since music is SOOO influential in my life. He's into physics and calculus and forensics, all of which I enjoy. He is a beast on GH drums, I tried that today and sucked at it terribly.
He is so sweet. I think he genuinely likes me for me, Alan was ruled by hormones. He is always trying to tickle me (which doesn't really work) but I admire him for trying. He comes to youth to spend more time with me and clears his schedule so we can hang out. He even came to my children's easter pageant practice... haha.
He has even scheduled his life to fit with mine. We're going to prom together, SOAR, he may even go to TEAMeffort in Gatlinburg even though I may not be working there. He is so honest and genuine with me and that is amazing. I enjoy spending time with him and hope that this will last.
